Islands where you can pass your year round in Greece

Despite the fact that there is a big difference between the summer and the winter in Greece and the later is not conducive to tourism and holidaying, there are some islands where you can camp year round. Such camping may help you make your final decisions to have house there.

These islands include Mykonos, Hydra and Skiathos where you will find people from outside flocking throughout the year. These islands are not like the others where spending winter season may feel like spending your time in a prison but if you desire buying a house here the proposition could be expensive.

One major drawback for tourists and outsiders visiting the beautiful country Greece shall be that they cannot swim in water in Winter season. This feature has adversely affected the tourism in the country. Despite their comparatively better position even the houses in Mykonos continues to be wet and damp and may not be to the best of your liking though otherwise life could be enjoyable there.

Moreover, both land and houses are quite expensive on these islands. The legality of your acquiring properties depends on your nationality and the island in question. On the other hand if you are a house owner on one of those Greek islands and wish to sell it away, you may find difficulty in finding willing buyers who would buy it.
