Anniversary Party

My wife and I are planning to throw our anniversary party to a nearby hotel. I thought that we have enough money for the party but I was wrong. We already sent out the invitations and I didn’t want my wife to be disappointed if ever the party will be cancelled. The party was in two weeks and I thought of getting cash for jewelry.

A colleague has told me a jeweler and where I could find it so I rushed to the shop hoping that they can provide me the money I lacked. Luckily, all the gold jewels I brought can cover the remaining balance to the hotel. The jeweler told me that I could also sell gold online so if ever I can’t go to their shop, I can easily talk to them.

The party was a blast! We exceeded our guests’ expectations and I was very happy seeing my lovely wife enjoying the party. Until now, she doesn’t know that I sold my jewelries to make the party happen. I am just waiting for the right time. She still has the hang-over of our anniversary.
